OHSAS 18001 represents a specification that can be applied to all types of companies and divisions. It involves a health and labour protection certification system that has been specified by internationally certification bodies. OHSAS 18001 standard (Occupational health and safety management system) was created in 1999 by the principle international certification Entities and by some important standardization Entities like BSI, as an international standard of reference was missing.
